David Hartleben of Vienna and Jennifer Young of Little Hocking announce the engagement of their daughter, Kasey Christine Hartleben, to William Curtis Brookover of Vienna.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Nile and the late Frances Hartleben of Vienna and Wendell and the late Peggy Hendershot of Walker. She has one brother, Aaron Hartleben of Hurricane, and one sister, Jodi Cottrell of Hurricane.

She is a 2006 graduate of Parkersburg High School. She is currently pursuing a degree in elementary education from West Virginia University at Parkersburg and will graduate in December.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kimberly Brookover of Lubeck and William H. Brookover of Lubeck. He is the grandson of the late George and Lena Whitehead of Parkersburg and William L. and the late Ethel Brookover of Vienna. He has one sister, April Life of Parkersburg.

He is a 2003 graduate of Parkersburg High School and is currently pursuing a degree in business from West Virginia University at Parkersburg. He is employed at the Bureau of the Public Debt.

A July 14, 2012, wedding is planned at Vienna Baptist Church with a reception to follow at the Parkersburg Art Center.
