Mike and Patty Davis celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Nov. 24. They were married Nov. 24, 1971, in Salem, W.Va. by the Rev. Dennis Miller.
He is the son of Helen Davis and the late Edsel Davis of Salem, W.Va. She is the daughter of the late Harry and Georgia Matheny of Salem, W.Va.
He is employed with Praxair Company in Marietta and she is a homemaker.
The couple have two children, Amy (Eric) Williams and Todd Davis of Marietta. They have three grandchildren, Justin Grahame, Alyssa Wittekind, and Hayley Davis, all of Marietta.
