Together with their parents, Kayleigh Marie Dye and Jeremy Dale Ticknor announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dwight and Joani Brohard of Mineral Wells, W.Va., and Bruce and Debbie Dye of Spencer, W.Va. She is the granddaughter of Marie Smith of Melbourne Beach, Fla. and the late Dwight Smith of Parkersburg. The late Joe and Jewel Dye of Louisville, Ky. and the late Argil and Elva Brohard of Brohard, W.Va. and Joe and Barbara Starcher of Spencer, W.Va..
She is a 2003 graduate of Parkersburg South High School, a 2007 graduate of Marshall University, with a bachelors in dietetics and a 2008 graduate of Marshall University, with a masters in dietetics. She is a Registered Dietitian.
The prospective bride-groom is the son of Roger and Beth Ticknor of Chesapeake, Ohio. He is the grandson of Robert and Joann Kratzenberg of South Point, Ohio and the late Dean and Faye Ticknor of Des Moines, Iowa.
He is a 2001 graduate of South Point High School, Ohio and attended Ohio University, majoring in accounting. He is employed at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Buffalo, W.Va.
A wedding is planned for July 7, 2012, in Parkersburg, with a reception to follow at Woodridge Plantation.
