Randall H. Perry of River Cities Financial Services Ltd. recently attended Connect 2011, Multi-Financial's annual conference, this year held in Atlanta, Ga. The event assembled nearly 300 Multi-Financial advisors focused on supporting clients' pursuit of their financial goals in challenging market conditions.
"Opportunities like this are extreme valuable," said Perry. "We receive training on emerging investment and insurance products and we also get an opportunity to acclimate ourselves with advanced technology and developing trends. It's all geared toward helping me deliver more value to my clients, and as a result, I make it a point to attend."
The Connect conference agenda featured more than 70 business-building sessions and four general sessions along with opportunities to connect on a smaller scale, including lunch-and-learn panels and peer-to-peer sessions. Guest speakers included some of the nation's foremost financial strategists and thought-leaders.
The conference also gave advisors an opportunity to learn more about new and expanded initiatives from Multi-Financial and Cetera Financial Group, including a new advisory technology platform, and production options, as well as to hear key insights into current and emergency events.
