MC staffer earns professional honor
Marietta College's Jessica Rager, assistant professor and athletic trainer, was recently named representative to National Athletic Trainers' Association Young Professional Committee (NATA YPC).
"It's a tremendous honor to have been selected to represent District IV in the YPC," she said.
Rager said she looks forward to taking on the role as District IV representative to NATA YPC. "I am very excited to take on these responsibilities and represent the YPC and young professional athletic trainers as well as promoting the athletic training profession with dignity and the highest level of professionalism."
Rager received her bachelor of science degree from Wright State University. She earned her master's in exercise science from California University of Pennsylvania. Rager has been extremely involved in the OATA. Her committee work includes College/University, Scholarship, and Young Professionals Committees.
Rager, who is in her fifth year at Marietta, teaches Athletic Training Education classes. Her primary Athletic Training teams include women's soccer, women's basketball, women's crew and women's tennis.
In addition to her athletic training skills, Rager holds certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES)..
Realtor earns
Century 21 award
Realtor Kathy Lough, with Century 21 Full Service Realty, has been awarded the "President's Sales Club" Award of Achievement designation from the Ohio Association of Realtors (OAR).
Lough is a member of the Marietta Board of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. She has achieved a level of accomplishment that less than 10 percent of Ohio's real estate professionals have attained.
Honorees were recognized at the President's Sales Club Dinner during OAR's 101st Annual Convention, Sept. 11 to 14 in Columbus.
