Donald and Bobbi Tallman of Vincent announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Sadie Ann, to John Ambrose Rowan of Goldsboro, N.C. He is the son of Vivian Rowan, of Belpre, and Blake Rowan of Vienna, W.Va..
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Hazel and the late Robert Way of Vincent, and the late Leo and Georgia Tallman of Van Buren, Ind. She is a 1998 graduate of Warren High School and a 2003 graduate of Marietta College.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Wilma and the late Thomas Barnhart of Belpre, and the late John and Wanda Rowan. He is a 1998 graduate of Warren High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
A Dec. 31, 2011 wedding is planned, to be held at Barlow Presbyterian Church.
