Peoples Bancorp Inc. and its banking subsidiary, Peoples Bank, National Association (Peoples Bank) announce the promotion of Tyler J. Wilcox to assistant vice president, director of compensation and benefits. Wilcox is now responsible for managing and implementing compensation and benefits programs and policies for Peoples Bank.
"We're excited to have Tyler take on growing responsibilities with our Human Resources team," said Michael Hager, Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Peoples Bank. "Tyler is a team player and has a keen understanding of how to develop programs that will continue to position Peoples Bank as a quality place to work."
Wilcox was formerly associate counsel with Peoples Bank, providing legal services and advice to Peoples Bancorp, Inc., its subsidiaries, and management. He has more than three years banking experience. Wilcox received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Brigham Young University and his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Wilcox is a volunteer Spanish translator with the Marietta municipal court and was appointed in 2010 to the Ohio State Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section Council.
