Dr. Thomas and Barbara Piehowicz of Marietta announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Jo to Bryce Arthur Culver, son of Brent and Marge Culver of Delaware, Ohio.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Hugh and Betty Flanagan of Glendale, W.Va., and the late Joseph and Mary Piehowicz of Benwood, W.Va.
She is a 1998 graduate of Marietta High School, a 2002 graduate of Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and human resources management, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in human resources development at The Ohio State University. She is employed at Victoria's Secret corporate headquarters in Columbus as a learning and development specialist in the human resources department.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Robert Dyson and the late Helen Dyson of Steubenville, and the late Arthur and Pauline Culver of Sunbury, Ohio.
He is a 2000 graduate of Olentangy High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and logistics from The Ohio State University in 2004, where he was a four-year member of the varsity football team. He also earned a master's degree in business from The Ohio State University in 2009. He is employed as a finance and marketing teacher at Gahanna High School in Gahanna, Ohio, where he is a varsity football and basketball coach. He is also the proprietor of several rental properties in Columbus.
A June 2012 wedding is being planned in Marietta.
