Frank and Bridget McCreery of New Matamoras announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Nicole to Jeremy Ken West, son of Jim and Cheryl West, also of New Matamoras.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Ron and Cora Matheny and Mary and the late Frank McCreery Sr. She is a 2003 graduate of Frontier High School, a 2007 graduate of Muskingum University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, and a 2010 graduate of Walden University with a master's degree in elementary reading and literacy. She is currently employed as a teacher in the Frontier Local School District and is the director of the PACE Premier Company competitive dance program at Performing Arts Connection & Education.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Jerry and Nancy Holpp and Kenneth and the late Eldine West. He is a 1998 graduate of Frontier High School and is currently employed with Cytec Industries Incorporated located in Willow Island, W.Va.
A June wedding is planned at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta.
