Lee Ann Davis and Sean Wainwright were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m., May 21, 2011, at Beverly United Methodist Church in Beverly. The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Jeff Corbett.
The bride is the daughter of Keith and Pam Davis of Stockport, Ohio. She is the granddaughter of Dwight and Patsy Davis, Carroll Wingrove and the late Shirley Wingrove.
The bridegroom is the son of Doug Wainwright of Beverly, and Barbara Wainwright of Waterford.He is the grandson of Doris Wainwright and the late Melvin Wainwright and the late Gaza and Joann Danku.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Marietta College and is employed by Chevron North America where she is a policy, government and public affairs representative.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Marietta College and is a completions engineer at Chief Oil and Gas.
The bride was escorted down the isle by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a formal strapless bodice gown embellished with soft flowers, lace appliques, and crystals. Her veil was mid-length, lined with crystals. She carried a bouquet of white and purple roses, green and purple hydrangea's and green berries wrapped in purple ribbon.
The matron of honor was Whitney (Harlow) Smith. The maid of honor was Julie (Tawney) Warden. Bridesmaids were Hannah Erb, Roberta (Wainwright) Pitts, sister of the bridegroom, Kelly Marzolino, Danielle (Howell) Allphin, Logan Wern and Lyndsay Offenberger. The bridesmaids wore strapless, wisteria purple knee length dresses and carried a mixture of purple hydrangea's. Attendants were Jessica Wingrove, Sarah Davis and Laura Davis, cousins of the bride.
The best man was Dan Doebereiner. Groomsman were Alex Heiss, Joey Baker, Ben Cunningham, Dan Raddish, Zach Smith, Anthony Baldwin and Tim Andy, cousin of the bridegroom. Ushers were Brandon Smith and Lowell Warden.
Prelude and ceremony music was played by John Stack and Becky Dennis, cousin of the bridegroom. Lynnette Lauer provided a reading to begin the lighting of the unity candle.
A formal reception was held at the Knights of Columbus in Churchtown following the ceremony.
The couple honeymooned in Rivera Maya, Mexico.
They reside in Pittsburgh, Pa.
