Together with their parents, Karrie Lauer and Evan Lang announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mike and Vicky Lauer of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Paul Doan and the late Leona Doan and Ann Lauer and the late Noble Lauer.
She is a 2003 graduate of Marietta High School, a 2008 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology and a minor in psychology, and a 2010 graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is currently employed as a Doctor of Physical Therapy for Avante in Waynesboro, Va.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jeff and Paula Lang of Lowell. He is the grandson of Paul and Gene Perry and the late Peggy Perry and Marilyn Lang and the late Richard Lang.
He is a 2003 graduate of Marietta High School. He is currently employed at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va.
They will be united in marriage on May 12, 2012, at Putnam Congregational Church in Devola.
