Combs-Meeks
Together with their parents, Chelsea Elizabeth Combs and Craig Robert Meeks announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jim Combs of Brooklyn, Conn. and Debbie Combs of Preston, Conn. She is the granddaughter of Don and Nancy Long of Geneva, N.Y. She is a 2005 graduate of Norwich Free Academy and a 2010 graduate of Eastern Connecticut University with a bachelor's degree in communications. She is employed by Clear Channel Communications in Hartford, Conn. as a production assistant .
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Paul and Susan Meeks of Little Hocking. He is the grandson of Betty Brant and the late John Brant of Bartlett, Lossie Meeks and the late Guy Meeks of Marietta, and the late Rose and Vance Griffin. He is a 2004 graduate of Warren Local High School. He is serving in the U.S. Navy as a Damage Controlman First Class.
They will exchange their vows Sept. 29, 2012, at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Norwich, Conn. with the reception to follow at Water's Edge Spa and Resort in Westbrook, Conn.
