NCCF awards two grants

January 31, 2012
The Marietta Times

The Noble County Community Foundation (NCCF) awarded two grants in its winter 2012 funding round.

A grant of $500 was made to Lutheran Social Services to provide wheelchair ramps, home repairs, and vehicle expenses associated with the pick up and delivery of donations of toys, furniture, beds, etc. Total cost of the project is estimated at $8,500. A second grant was funded by Ames/True Temper and was awarded to the Village of Dexter City for improvements at the community park.

This marks the 11th round of grants given out by the NCCF since it first began making awards in the summer of 2005. The total given out by the NCCF since 2005 has now exceeded $10,000.

The NCCF board also chose winners of the NCCF scholarship which will be awarded at the annual Noble County Chamber banquet in March.

The annual report of the NCCF will shortly be available at the NCCF website.
