Charles Ray and Helen Anderson Cline of Lewisville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 30.
He is retired from Conalco Aluminum and she is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She has sold Stanley Home Products for 40 years and has been a volunteer 4-H advisor for 33 years and an insurance agent for six years.
On Dec. 30 the family had a surprise party for them at Bob and Eileen LaFollette's.
They are the parents of Darla (Pat) Shannon of Gautier, Miss., Larry (Villa) Cline of Columbus, and Linda (Gene) VanMeenen of Lewisville. They are the grandparents of Alex Shannon, Ryan and Ian Cline, Shania and Cassara, Jessica (Joshua) Williams, Stormie VanMeenen (Justin Tucker), and David VanMeenen, and the great-grandparents of Zachary and Kyleeah Williams, and Gregory and Nicholas VanMeenen.
