Katie Sands and Jon Grimm were united in marriage at 12 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2012, at Aunt Patty Varner's home in Williamstown. The Rev. Ken Calebaugh officiated the double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Lori Markey of Vine Grove, Ky.
The bridegroom is the son of Jo Anne Goudy and Joseph Grimm, both of Marietta.
Lily, the bride's daughter was the flower girl. Katherine Markey, the bride's niece, was the ring bearer. Amy and Michelle Grimm, the bridegroom's daughters, served as the bridegroom's attendants.
The bride wore a chiffon strapless straight beaded neckline with ruched bodice and chapel length A-line skirt. She carried a bouquet of lilies.
Guests were invited to wear shades of purple. Guests were registered by Moriah Keith.
A family Meet and Greet was held at the Williamstown Women's Club on Dec. 31, 2011.
Following a honeymoon in Las Vegas, the couple resides in Marietta.
