Together with their parents, Cherokee Dawn Rogers and Matthew Ray Anderson announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of James and Nicola Rogers of Marietta. She is a 2008 graduate of Warren High School, and she will graduate from Marietta College in May with a bachelor's degree in health sciences. She is employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Myron and Mary Callihan of Lowell and Ben Anderson of Belpre. He is 2004 graduate of Fort Frye High School and a 2006 graduate of Hocking College with an associates degree in criminal justice.
He is employed at the Washington County Sheriff's Office as a deputy sheriff.
The couple has planned a wedding for May 26, 2012, at Tunnel United Methodist Church, with a reception to follow at the Marietta Comfort Inn.
