As a Warren senior, Allie Grace Proctor has played in a plethora of varsity girls' basketball games during her prep career.
But one contest in particular in late January of this year has to stand out and make the 5-foot-6 Warrior guard/forward grin a little bit. While a team player first and foremost, she enjoyed one of those rare individual outings on the court that all hoopsters dream about: A triple-double.
Against the visiting and Kenny DeMoss-coached Parkersburg Big Reds, Proctor scored 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had 10 steals in a 72-48 Warren triumph. She also dished out six assists.

Warren senior Allie Grace Proctor (20) goes up for two of her game high 18 points over Parkersburg's Dakota Hefner (3) during the first quarter of a girls' basketball game at Warren High School in late January. Proctor had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 steals for a triple-double as Warren won 72-48.
Oh, yes, Proctor had "zero" turnovers for essentially what can be argued a perfect game on the floor.
Making all this even sweeter, of course, Proctor accomplished the feat in front of the home crowd in Vincent.
"Grace has actually come close to a triple-double in quite a few games," said first-year Warren girls basketball coach Amy Colgrove. "The thing about her, the bigger the game, the better she is."

Recently, Proctor - who is averaging 12 points, six rebounds, three steals and two assists per game - was honored as Southeastern Ohio Athletic League (SEOAL) Co-player of the Year with Jackson's Madison Ridout. It's easy to understand why as she's been very instrumental in Warren's success on the hardwood this winter.
At 3:30 p.m. Saturday, second-seeded Warren (17-5 overall) is scheduled to play top-seeded Washington Court House Miami Trace in an Ohio Division II district championship game at Southeastern High. Last season, the Lady Warriors bowed out early in sectional play, so they've come a long ways.
"I'm so happy and proud of Grace," Colgrove said. "She responds to whatever I ask of her and does everything for the team. She can play inside or outside, and often guards the other team's best player."
In 2010-11, Proctor was an honorable mention pick on the All-SEOAL team.
Joining Proctor on this season's all-league squad are Warren teammates' Jordanna Rauch (5-7 guard) and Emma Ryan (5-11 forward). Both are juniors.
Rauch is the Warriors' top scorer this season, averaging 15 points, three assists and two steals per game.
Ryan is averaging 10 points and seven rebounds per game.
Also on the All-SEAOL team as an honorable mention is Warren senior and non-starter Kasey White.
"Kasey has stepped up her game and really been a spark for us off the bench," Colgrove said. "She's actually led us in scoring in our last two (playoff) games.
"She's one of the most athletic players I've ever known."
Last but certainly not least, Colgrove herself was named the SEOAL Coach of the Year in her very first season at the Warren girls' basketball helm.
Already, she's guided the Lady Warriors to both a league and sectional championship.
"I'm very honored to receive this award," Colgrove said. "The team won it for me, though. They bought into what I was preaching, and that is they have to play defense in order to win."
On the boys side, Warren's Evan French (6-4 sophomore forward), Jeremy Hastie (5-10 senior guard), and Josh Windland (6-4 senior forward) each is an all-league honoree.
Also on the squad as an honorable mention is 6-foot senior point guard Tyler Ward.
The Blane Maddox-coached and Ohio Division II No. 9-ranked Warriors (20-2) are slated to play Proctorville Fairland (16-5) in a district semi at the Ohio University Convocation Center in Athens at 6:15 p.m. tonight.
