Waterford FFA Chapter competes

Recently four members of the Waterford FFA Chapter competed in the District 10 Public Speaking contest that was held at Sheridan High School. Allison Adams competed in the Beginning Prepared speaking contest, Blake Campbell competed in the Extemporaneous speaking contest, James Whalin competed in the Prepared speaking contest and Megan Whalin competed in the Creed speaking contest in which she placed second and advanced to the State Public Speaking contest.

At the state public speaking contest, which was held at The Ohio State University Main Campus on March 17, Megan Whalin placed fourth overall out of approximately 250 students that participated across the state of Ohio in this years Creed contest. Whalin has also become the first member in Waterford FFA History to place in the top four at the state Creed Public Speaking Contest. Whalin will also be recognized on stage at the 84th State FFA Convention in May for her efforts.
