For 25 years, Artsbridge has provided performances, arts education and fantastic cultural opportunities to the community.
This is the time of year they ask for a little in return and we hope people respond.
The Artsbridge United Fund Drive kicked off March 21 and continues through May, with a goal this year set at $130,000.
Those funds will help provide more of the free programming for local residents and thousands of area students that Artsbridge provides on a regular basis.
That includes the annual Very Spectacular Arts Festival, which is open to about 500 students with disabilities each year, and the touring artists, from mimes to singers, that perform in local schools.
This exposure to all sorts of creativity is important for all generations of our community and it needs to continue.
Those who have benefited from Artsbridge already know how valuable what it provides to the community is. Those who aren't familiar with Artsbridge should take a minute to visit their website, www.artsbridgeonline.org, and find out what it's all about.
And those who are able should try to pitch in, in whatever amount they can.
