PFC Eric Paul Cooper graduated at Parris Island Marine Base at Parris Island, S.C., on Jan. 20, 2012, and graduated from Camp Geiger in Jacksonville, N.C., on Feb. 28, 2012. He became a private first class while currently at Fort Lee, Va., on April 2, 2012, and is training at Fort Lee to be a machinist.
Cooper is the son of Craig and April Cooper of Marietta and Lisa Lacey of Parkersburg. His grandparents are June Cooper of Marietta, Mary Morris of Williamstown, Ronnie Morris of Marietta, and Chester and Billie Sims of Marietta.
