Mike and Elizabeth Leisure of Parkersburg and Jerry and Debbie Phillips of Charleston, W.Va. announce the engagement of their daughter, Linda Jane Phillips to Darrin York Lawson, both of Belpre.
The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Parkersburg High School, 2004 graduate of Gallaudet University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree in rehab counseling. She is employed at Jackson County Developemental Center in Millwood, W.Va.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Nelsonville-York High School and a 2008 graduate of Hocking College. He is employed as a professional wrestler.
They have set a wedding date for May 27, 2012, at Belpre's Civitan Park at 5:30 p.m.
