Ed and Kay Santee are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married at the home of the bride on May 26, 1962.
She is the daughter of the late Earl and Josie Santee. He is the son of the late Lloyd and Nellie Bloomingdale.
He retired from Cytec (American Cyamid) after 30 years of service. She is a homemaker.
They are parents of Mark (Cheryl) Santee of Elko, Nev., and Missy (Kyle) Gutberlet of Marietta. They are the grandparents of Justin (Jodi) Gutberlet and Andrew Gutberlet, all of Marietta, and Matt and Tim Santee, both of Goldsboro, N.C.
They are members of Twin Rivers Baptist Church where he is on the board of trustees. She has been a Sunday school teacher for over 35 years. They enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. They are expecting a great-grandchild, Alyssa, in August.
