The 35th Annual Samuel R. Cook Safetytown program will be held from June 18-28 at Harmar Elementary School. The comprehensive 9-day safety training program is available free of charge to all area children who will be 5 by Aug. 1.
Children may attend either the morning session from 9 a.m. to noon or the afternoon session from 1 to 4 p.m. Applications are available at each local elementary school or by contacting Cheryl Cook at 374-6510. The application deadline is Friday. Safetytown is sponsored by the Marietta Noon Rotary Club.
