Michael and Carmelita Doyle of Washington, W.Va., announce the engagement of their daughter, Alyson Doyle to Adam Poling, son of Cheryl and James Poling of Ripley.
The bride-to-be attended Parkersburg Catholic High School and graduated from Marshall University's School of Journalism with a degree in Public Relations. She is currently Director of the Heart Mini Marathon & Walk at the American Heart Association in Cincinnati.
The prospective bridegroom attended Ripley High School and is also a graduate of Marshall University, holding a degree in Finance from the School of Business. He is a Natural Gas Buyer at American Electric Power in Columbus.
The wedding will be held Sept. 22, 2012, in Columbus among their family and friends.
