Gerald and Kathryn "Katie" Drake of 2357 McGill Road, Belpre, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on June 15. They were married June 15, 1947, in Waterford.
He is a retired educator and World War II veteran. She is retired from clerical work. They are members of the Veto Presbyterian Church.
The couple have three daughters: Sandra (Neil) Cassidy of Vincent, Melanie (Ron) Gilliand of Vincent, and Marsha (Chuck) Jarvis of Cutler. They also have six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
They will celebrate their anniversary with a family dinner.
