Dana Gene King, 63, of Byesville, Ohio, passed away Sunday (June 10, 2012) at his home.
He was born Sept. 25, 1948, in Cambridge and was the son of the late Virgil and Mildred (Abrams) King.
Mr. King was an over the road truck driver, he attended Meadowbrook High School and was a U.S. Marine veteran of Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars (Mr. Fix It" as he was known), and being outdoors. He was also an Elvis and John Wayne memorabilia collector.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Sonny.
Survivors include two sons, John King of Belle Valley and Jeremy (Jenny) King of Akron; one daughter, Jennifer Powell of Vincent; one brother, Rick (Suzy) King of Cambridge; two sisters, Diane (Chuck) Reasoner of Derwent and Dena (Dave) Mills of Byesville; four grandchildren, Tyler, Patrick, Garrett and Autumn.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville where services will follow at 11 a.m. with Richard Pangle officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Christian Cemetery.
