Janice and Albert Sarver of Marietta will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary open house with family and friends on June 16 at the Betsy Mills Club. Their daughters will host the celebration. Friends, family and old co-workers are welcome to attend.
They were married June 18, 1962, at the Church of God in Marietta. She is the daughter of the late Doris Martin West and Harold West; her siblings are Sheryl (Paul), Brenda (Charlie), and the late Nancy and Rick (Lori). He is the son of the late Tillie Best Sarver and Rollie Sarver; his siblings are Cecil (late Donna), and the late Thelma (Howard), Sue (Paul), Helen (Junior), and Gene (Shirley).
The couple's children are: the late Albert Edward Jr., Teresa (Dewayne) and Tallarie (Tink), all of Marietta, and Little One, their dog of the home. Their grandchildren are Joe (Emily) and Marisa Stewart. Their great-grandchildren are Brock and Dane Stewart.
He retired from Fenton Art Glass Company. She worked as Manager of Jean Frocks and as a cook at the Washington County Career Center in the 1980s before becoming a full-time homemaker.
