Marietta Care Center announces addition

Marietta Care and Rehabilitation Center welcomes Ashley Ranay Bills as the newest member of the center's business development team.

Bills comes to the center with over six years of health care experience, with four of those in skilled nursing and long-term care. She will be the direct contact for hospitals and physicians who have patients that need post-acute rehabilitation services.

Bills graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Public Relations from the W Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications. She currently lives in St. Marys, W.Va., and is the worship leader at her church. She is also a singer and guitar player in the Laurel Creek Bluegrass Band.

Belpre Medical

Campus open house

To inform and raise awareness of a new medical campus opening in Belpre, the public is invited to an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 1, at the Belpre Medical Campus, at 807 Farson St.

The open house will feature Marietta Memorial Hospital physicians and staff tours, as well as food, beverages and giveaways.

Marietta Home Health and Hospice is making the move from Seventh Street to the Lafayette Shopping Center. Its new location on 450 Pike St. will not only provide patients better access to services, but it will also increase the amount of available parking.

Marietta Home Health and Hospice, an affiliate of Memorial Health System, is a partner of Amedysis, a provider of home health and hospice care. Home health care provides services that include skilled nursing, home health aides, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Home health also offers medical social services and certified behavioral health services. Hospice provides care through comfort and non-curative treatment for those facing life-limiting illness.
