While Tim Grosel was an All-East Central Ohio League honoree in soccer, basketball and baseball, the 2012 Marietta High graduate also excelled in the classroom.
Grosel was the co-salutatorian of his MHS graduating class and gave a short speech at Marietta College's Dyson Baudo Recreation Center upon receiving his high school diploma.
The talented Tiger student/athlete could no doubt play any one of three sports at the college level, but has decided to focus on his studies at The Ohio State University in the fall.
He may however play in a club sport on the campus.
Grosel's twin sister Paige, also a standout student/athlete, will be accompanying him to Columbus.
Paige Grosel, an all-state pole vaulter in both outdoor and indoor track and field, may walk on the Buckeye scarlet and gray T&F team. She also may play club soccer at OSU.
