The second annual River City Comic Con will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta.
A comic book and collectibles show with a family friendly atmosphere, vendors will be on hand selling old and new comics, toys and collectibles.
Artist alley will feature more than 20 exhibitors, writers and artists. Special guests will include actor Ian Petrella, who portrayed Randy in the holiday classic "A Christmas Story," Daniel Boyd, writer and director of the cult classic Troma film "Chillers," and James Patrick, writer of such DC characters as Batman and Green Arrow.
Panel discussions about creating comics will be held, along with short film screenings from local filmmakers and a free make-and-take craft for children. Admission is $2, with children ages 8 and under free. Full information can be found at www.rivercitycomiccon.com.
