The 4th Annual MOV In The Pink Cancer Walk (3 mile)/ Run (5 mile) for the Cure is being held at the Parkersburg City Park Sept. 29. Events begin at 9 a.m.
Mid-Ohio Valley In The Pink is a 501 c(3) organization raising money that assists uninsured and underinsured women in the early detection of breast cancer and increases public awareness of the need for early detection. The goal is to give women vital information about a program that can help them get their mammograms and other life-saving diagnostic screening procedures done at little or no cost to them based on their eligibility.
During the event, there will be a special ceremony honoring breast cancer survivors and remembering those loved ones that lost their battle. Participants will have a chance to win a raffle prize donated by area merchants and our vendors and vendors will be set up to display and sell their merchandise.
