Kaitlin Nichole Bennett and William James Burton, together with their parents, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kevin and Brenda Bennett of Palestine. She is the granddaughter of John and Faye Lockhart of Sandyville, and Harold and Virginia Bennett of Palestine. She is a 2007 graduate of Wirt County High School, and a 2010 graduate of Washington State Community College Radiologic Technology Program. She works as a radiologic technologist at Rheumatology Associates in Charleston.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jamie and Debbie Burton of Rockport. He is the grandson of Bill and Jean Martin of Parkersburg, Shelia Goodnight of Parkersburg, and Janet and the late Rolland Burton of Rockport. He is a 2004 graduate of Wirt County High School, and a 2009 graduate of West Virginia University of Parkersburg with a degree in Business Technology. He is a manufacturing operator at ThermoFisher Scientific in Marietta. A wedding is planned for Aug. 25, 2012, at the bride's family farm in Palestine.
Following the wedding the couple will reside in Palestine.
