Earl and Dorothy Hesson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 26. They were married at the Warner United Church of Christ by the late Rev. Walter Hobba.
He is the son of Judy Hesson of Caldwell, formerly of Elba, and the late James Hesson. She is the daughter of the late Oscar and Hilma Thomas of Lower Salem.
They have two children: Deanna of Marietta and Doug (Michelle) also of Marietta; three grandchildren, Justin, Ali and Shelby Hesson; and three step-grandchildren, Chrystal, Ramiro (Mallory) and Albert Perez.
He has been a barber for 52 years and owns Earls Style World in Marietta. He is semi-retired. She retired from Kardex Systems after 32 years.
They reside at 160 Chainey Run Road, Marietta.
