OVU names new VP for university outreach

VIENNA, W.Va. - Jeremy Jacoby, sales engineer for Compressco Partners, LP, of Indiana, Penn., has been named the new vice president for university outreach at Ohio Valley University.

Jacoby will begin the transition to the post immediately and begin his work in Vienna, W.Va., Sept. 10.

OVU President Harold Shank noted, "Jeremy Jacoby brings an extensive skill set to Ohio Valley University. He is a highly respected, ambitious and results-driven business professional with a broad experience in several businesses. He has expertise in turn-around initiatives that have positioned organizations for long-term sustainable success. I am delighted to partner with him as we transform lives in a Christian academic environment."

Jacoby's duties will include working with admissions, advancement, marketing and events. He is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University and the executive management program of the University of Texas in McComb, Texas. He was general manager of Hudiburg Toyota in Oklahoma City, Okla., prior to his work at Compressco Partners.

Jacoby and his wife, Lauren, live in Erie, Penn., where she is a medical student at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. They are members at the Erie Church of Christ and at the Glen Rock Church of Christ in York, Penn. Jacoby has been an active participant at Camp Manatawny near Philadelphia.
