Muskingum Drive will not be open in time for the Washington County Fair, like previously expected.
The Waterways festival, a celebration of Marietta's rich water resources, will include the Huck Finn Youth Fishing Tournament and the Ohio Bass Tournament. There will also be a "Gone Fishin' Sale" sponsored by area retailers.

The regular season of the Auditorium Theater will open on Labor Day with John Vogel presenting his big city minstrels.
The Marietta band concert will be moved back a day to Aug. 23.
