ST. MARYS, W.Va. - Maggie Drazba wasn't challenged here Saturday during the Autumn Classic in Pleasants County as the Blue Devil rolled to the individual victory after crossing the finish line in 20:08.7.
Bridgeport's Morganne Phillips (21:26.4) was the runner-up and Parkersburg South's April Kirk finished third after completing the course in 21:42.6.
Philip Barbour won the team title with 86 points. Bridgeport took second with 101 and Williamstown placed third after scoring 139, which just edged out Ravenswood (141).
The Yellowjackets were led by Cami Mosser (23:36.2, 11th), Shealee Mosser (24:01.8, 17th) and Andrea Chidester (24:42.8, 26th).
Five other runners from the Mid-Ohio Valley managed to crack the top 25 in the first cross country event of the season. Seventh place went to Ripley's Ali Cunningham (22:18.7), Ravenswood's Hailey Miller was 10th with a time of 23:31.1 and Red Devil teammate Taylor Treadway (24:18.4) finished 19th.
Kirk's teammate Rachel Teter placed 23rd after finishing in 24:26.1 and Ritchie County's Amanda Davis bested Chidester by a spot after posting a 24:34.5 effort.

In the boys race, George Washington's Matthew Bradford topped the field by finishing in a winning time of 17:27.9, but the team title went to Ripley as the Vikings pulled out a 76-79 win versus runner-up Fairmont Senior.
Caleb Casto (18:29) took fifth and Chad Longanacre (19 ) finished ninth to help lead the Vikings to the team crown. Jake Casto (19:20, 16th), Levi Phillips (19:53, 23rd) and Ryan Gregory (19:59, 27th) rounded out the scoring lineup for the Jackson County program.
Aside from Casto and Longanacre, four other Mid-Ohio Valley runners produced top 10 finishes. Ritchie County's Johnny Hogue (17:57.8) had the top area finish by placing third while Doddridge County's Caleb Moore came in fourth after posting a 18:16.2. Bulldog Matthew Zorn's time of 18:46.2 was good for sixth and Wirt County's Glenn McMillan took seventh with an effort of 18:53.3.
Jordan Whitehair of St. Marys just missed out on a top 10 finish after clocking in at 19:02.1. Tyler Consolidated's Dylan Reynolds (19:23.9, 18th), Ravenswood's Luke Sadecky (19:50.7, 22nd) and Doddridge County's Keith Britton (19:54.4, 25th) also cracked the top 25 individuals.
