The 71st Taylor reunion was hosted by John, Nita Dye and Billy of Dart on Aug. 18. Also in attendance were Dean, Jeanette Haught, Mark Haught of New Matamoras, Dorothy Hendricks of Devola, Tim, Ann Carrothers of Newport, Jim, Martha Theobald of Reno, Ted, Sandy Wilson, Josh Swartz, Mike, Teresa Haught, and Stacy Cline and Cadence of Marietta, Wayne, Maddie West of Lower Salem, and Ryan, Tina Longfellow and Audrey and Zachary of Grove City.
The following were presented with a gift. The oldest present were Dean Haught and Dorothy Hendricks. The youngest girl was Audrey Longfellow. The youngest boy was Zachary Longfellow. Traveling the farthest were Ryan, Tina, Audrey and Zachary Longfellow. The door prize winner was Mike Haught. Everyone participated in the white elephant sale.
The 2013 reunion will be held at the home of J.D. and Michele Secrest in Marietta.
