Roger and Jane Miller of Marietta will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Oct. 7.
They were married on Oct. 7, 1972, at St. John's Catholic Church. He is the son of the late Francis and Alice Miller and she is the daughter of Regina Weinheimer and the late Lawrence Weinheimer, all of Marietta.
They have two sons, Doug (Kathy) Miller of Reedsville and David (Sarah) Miller of Columbus. They have one grandchild, Grace Miller.
He is retired from Wood County Airport and she is retired from Peoples Bank. They are members of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
The couple's children are inviting family and friends to a celebration at the Knights of Columbus Hall located at 308 Franklin St., Marietta, on Oct. 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. They request no gifts, but would appreciate visiting with family and friends.
