William S. and Mary H. Kitts of Barlow will celebrate their diamond wedding anniversary on Sept. 22. A reception will be hosted by their children at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Barlow from 2 to 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
They were married on Sept. 27, 1952, at the Oakhill Church in Stockport by the late Guy White.
She is the former Mary H. Brown, daughter of the late Pearl and Ethel Brown of Marietta. He is the son of the late Willie and Beula Kitts.
He worked for McJunkin Corporation in Marietta. She is a retired bus driver from Ewing and WASCO school.
They are the parents of four sons: Steven (Debbie) of Colorado; Barry (Cindy) of Barlow, Tracy (Tina) of Athens, and Terry (Dawn) of Atlanta, Ga. They have four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
