Judy M. Hogue, 68, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away Tuesday (Sept. 18, 2012) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 27, 1944, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of Frank and Thelma Worstell Flowers. She graduated from Theodore Roosevelt High School, Kent, Ohio. She was a retired teacher's aide for Marietta City Schools, where she worked at the Adult Learning Center in Marietta, Ohio. She worked for the Adult Learning Center for several years where she impacted many lives. She was a big asset to the Adult Learning Center, and her goal in life was to help as many people as she could.
She is survived by one sister: Nancy (William) Bates, Beechgrove, In. She is also survived by two sons: Billie (Shelda): children: Jennifer, Amy, and Ryan. John; children: Michael, Breann; great-grandson: Gabriel, and John. Two daughters: Janeen (children: Joshua, Gregory, and Stephen) and Darlene. She is also survived by everyone who called her Mom or Grandma Judy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Glenn Shelby Hogue.
Memorial service will be held on Friday (Oct. 5) at 1 p.m. at the Marietta Church of God, 501 Colegate Drive, Marietta, Ohio, with Pastor John Coyle officiating. Burial services will be in Watertown Cemetery, Watertown, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions towards her headstone would be greatly appreciated. A benefit account in her name has been created at Citizen's Bank in Marietta or Beverly, Ohio.
