Romona Julia Dziagwa, 88, of Parkersburg, died Sunday (Sept. 30, 2012) at Cedar Grove Personal Care.
Born April 23, 1924 in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Julia Rekuss Siebert.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and served in the church's Sanctuary Society for many years. She also volunteered at Parkersburg Catholic Elementary and Parkersburg Catholic High Schools. She was an avid bowler and bowled in the Obermeyers Florist league at Emerson Lanes.
She is survived by three children, Bill (Connie) Dziagwa of Parkersburg, Don (Mary) Dziagwa of Tampa, Fla., and Susan (John) Hull of Seminole, Fla.; six grandchildren, Matthew, Annie, Grace, and Thomas of Tampa, Fla. and Jacob and Elijah, of Seminole, Fla.; two nephews, Len (Cindy) Tobiaski and Glenn Tobey, and a special cousin, Marilyn Finch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William John Dziagwa who she was married to for 51 years; a sister, Lorraine Tobiaski; and an infant brother, Raymond Siebert.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday (Oct. 4) at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church at 11 a.m. with Monsignor Joseph Peterson officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday (Oct. 3) at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg from 6 to 8 p.m., concluding with a vigil service at 8 p.m.
