L. Louise Owens, 81, of Marietta, passed away 12:50 a.m., Friday (Oct. 5, 2012) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 22, 1930, in Marietta to Elmer and Garnett (Bayless) Skinner. Louise was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Louise married Louis E. Owens, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are children: Jeannette Rowe of Marietta, Barbara Gregory (Richard) of Orlando, Fla. and Nancy Bigley (Michael) of Portland, Ore. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Louise is also survived by two sisters.
In addition to her parents and husband she was precede in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Louise was cremated and a graveside memorial service will be held in Salem, Ohio. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.mslfuneralhome.com.
