Raymond Bert and Sara Emma Jones of Waterford are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple celebrated with family and friends at a barbecue held in their honor.
They were married on Oct. 4, 1952, at Our Lady Of Mercy Catholic Church in Lowell.
He is the son of the late Engle Bert and Roka Inez Jones. She is the daughter of the late Raymond Henry and Anna Barbara Huck.
They are the parents of Barbara (Steve) Littler, Alan Jones (deceased), Susan (Michael) West, Mary (Jerry) Hess, Thomas (Doddi) Jones, Evelyn (Randy) Hall, Jeffery (Shari) Jones, Andrew (Sharon) Jones, Debora (Randall Parsons) Jones, and Patrick (Peggy) Jones. They also have an exchange student daughter from Germany, Annette Barkow-Hansen.
They are grandparents to 26 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
