Peoples Bank hires senior vice president

Peoples Bank, National Association (Peoples Bank) has hired Tom Frawley as senior vice president, consumer lending. In this position, Frawley will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to Peoples Bank and its clients by designing, implementing, and servicing the full line of consumer lending products and services at the bank. These services include residential lending, consumer and recreational and auto lending, and other personal loans.

"Tom brings a wealth of experience to Peoples in the consumer lending area. He has a proven track record of building great teams whose goal is serving the client. Peoples has money to lend in our communities, and Tom's expertise and knowledge will help our associates work together with our clients to help them meet their financial goals," said Chuck Sulerzyski, President and CEO.

Frawley is originally from the Cleveland (Ohio) area and began his career in banking over 25 years ago. Since that time, he has worked primarily in the consumer lending area for large and small banks throughout Ohio, West Virginia, and Iowa. Frawley joins Peoples Bank after his most recent position as the head of Consumer Lending at WesBanco Bank in Wheeling, W.Va.

Frawley earned a bachelor of science in business with a major in finance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. His office will be located at the Peoples Bank Putnam Street office in Marietta.

Copper Leaf Interior earns top honors

Copper Leaf Interior Design Studio recently earned top honors at the Ohio South/Kentucky chapter of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) annual design competition. This group is the oldest and largest professional association for the interior design profession. ASID has more than 33,500 members and has 48 chapters across the U.S. and Canada. The local chapter includes the state of Kentucky, central and southern Ohio, including Columbus and the Cincinnati/Dayton area.

Copper Leaf Interior Design Studio took home the following awards: First place, Harbine Chatfield Award, for residential space over 2,000 square feet; First place, Cornelius A. Hubbuch Award, for single space, commercial; and Honorable Mention, Steven Ely Award, for single space, residential.

The studio is located at 710 Lancaster St., Marietta.

Solvay employee completes 25 years

Bill Dunn recently completed 25 years of employment with Solvay Specialty Polymers.

Dunn joined the Marietta plant in 1987 as a chemical operator.

He resides in Marietta, with his wife, Donna. They have two children, Steven and Allison, and two grandchildren, Madison and Lillian.

Solvay employee completes 15 years

Joshua Stewart recently completed 15 years of employment with Solvay Specialty Polymers.

Stewart joined the Marietta plant in 1997 as a laboratory technician.

Josh resides in Marietta, with his wife, Stephenie, and children, Brodic and Ephraim.
