Mark Steven Cheeseman, 54, of Marietta, died Tuesday (Oct. 9, 2012) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Marietta and was the son of Lloyd and Jeannine Bishman Cheeseman of Marietta. He graduated from Marietta High School in 1976 and attended Fairmont State University. He was an avid golfer, fisherman, Ohio State Buckeye Fan and an excellent craftsman. He was the owner of Cheeseman's Live Bait and River City Woodshop.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Darren (Cathy) Cheeseman of Lowell, Ohio; two sisters, Jana (Darryl) Keir of Atlanta, Ga., Michelle (Brian) McMullen of Waxhaw, N.C., nieces, nephews and many good friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Helen Cheeseman and Edwin and Elsie Bishman.
There will be a visitation on Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre. Funeral services will be private. Officiating will be Pastor Gordie Deer. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Marietta.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Strecker Cancer Center.
