Spaghetti luncheon planned in Belpre

The Beverly-Center Safety Patrol will hold a benefit spaghetti luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Mason Lodge in Beverly. The meal will be salad, spaghetti, bread, dessert and a drink. The cost is a donation. There will also be a silent auction. The proceeds from the luncheon will be used for the Safety Patrol's trip to Washington D.C. in the spring.

Relay For Life team taking a trip Nov. 24

The Washington County Relay For Life team Angels Among Us is offering a trip to the Tanger Outlets/Oglebay Park Trip Nov. 24. The bus will depart from the Marietta Kroger's parking lot at 8 a.m. The cost is $35 per person and must be received to secure a seat. Payment is non-refundable, unless the seat is filled. All proceeds go toward the Relay for Life.

Pasta fundraiser will be held Oct. 28

The Marietta Choir annual Pasta Dinner Fundraiser will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Oct. 28 in the Marietta High School cafeteria. The menu will include spaghetti, salad, bread, a drink and dessert. There will also be a country store and vocal entertainment throughout the evening. Tickets are $8 and are available at the door.

St. John to hold pancake breakfast

A pancake/sausage breakfast sponsored by the St. John's CWC will be held from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Oct. 28 at St. John Central Grade School in Churchtown. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children and $20 for families.

Antique appraisal at Waterford Elem.

An antique appraisal will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 27 at Waterford Elementary School to raise money for repairs at the Oliver Tucker Museum. The cost is $5 for the first item, $3 for additional items.

Duct tape crafting event at the library

The Marietta location of the Washington County Public Library will offer Duct Tape Crafts for those ages 7 to 18 on Oct. 27. The class for ages 7 to 12 will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the class for ages 13 to 18 will meet from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Registration is required. To register, stop by the Youth Services Department or call 373-1057, Ext. 219.
