SARAHSVILLE - Caldwell had four rushers go over 100 yards Friday night as the Redskins rolled for a 47-16 victory over the Shenandoah Zeps in a PVC matchup.
Bricker Lori (6-133), Caleb VanMeter (18-120), Andrew Minosky (7-107) and Kale Rayner (11-100) all reached the century mark as the Josh Perkins-led Redskins accumulated 526 rushing yards in the game.
In the first quarter, Caldwell jumped out to an early lead thanks to touchdowns runs of 81 yards by Lori, five yards by Minosky and four yards by VanMeter.
Shenandoah got on the board with a 40 yard touchdown pass from Danny Neuhart to Dakota Hornak with 6:54 left in the first quarter. Caldwell got three more rushing touchdowns from Minosky, Rayner and Brian Magorien in the second quarter to extend its lead 40-8 at halftime. The Redskins would add another score on a three yard burst by Tyler Willey in the third quarter. The Zeps got one back on a five-yard scoring run by Ethan McKee.
It was Caldwell's second victory of the season putting the Redskins at 2-8 in 2012. The Zeps were unable to notch a victory on the season and finished 0-10.
