I was reading up on the Ohio Senatorial candidates Josh Mandel and Sherrod Brown. Brown has been in government service for 40 years and Mandel hired a bunch of his pals to high financial office despite having no training in finance. The typical he said he said stuff.
I started coughing when I found out Mandel is one of the far right fringe Republicans who want to deny a woman an abortion even when her life is on the line. I thought he might be a bit too self-assured but I didn't think he was so deluded that he thought he was knowledgeable enough to practice medicine by writing laws.
Mandel apparently wants to join the "War on Women" as a U.S. senator. It would be interesting to hear his positions on providing women's health care for the poor and being a woman as a pre-existing condition.
If you are a woman or you like the fair sex, ending healthcare for women is probably enough reason to avoid voting for Mandel.
