I would like to thank Andy Thompson for his hard work during his first term in the Ohio Statehouse. Even more than his hard work I would like to thank him and his colleagues for what they accomplished in terms of bringing both state debt and spending under control. Lastly, I would like to thank Thompson for his support for property rights and against the Republican governor on the severance tax.
It takes guts to oppose the leader of your own party. However, by doing so Thompson has shown the people of his district are more important than simply trying to get along with the power brokers in Columbus. That's the kind of man I want to represent me so I am happy to cast my ballot for Andy Thompson for state representative.
