You and I have the right and the responsibility to vote, keeping in mind the future of our children, Republic and those who will come after us.
What criteria will you use to select candidates? Do you look at the character of each candidate for every office?
When is the last time you checked the written platforms of each of the political parties? They're not the same as they were even a few years ago. Their values may no longer be your values! Check out the links to the two major political parties' platforms: www.democrats.org/democratic-national-platform, www.gop.com/2012-republican-platform_home
In the Declaration of Independence, our Forefathers told the King that our God-given rights (the Life issues, liberty - especially Religious Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness) can't be taken away!
Over the years, life in the USA has become devalued through the legalized killing of our unborn American children through abortion and embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, redefining marriage, human cloning and the loss of Religious Liberty.
Do we appreciate that we have rights that are not enjoyed by most people in the world? Let's work to retain them; cast your ballot to strengthen our cherished Republic! The health of future generations and our Republic can't be served by voting for those who seek to take these basic rights away from us, no matter what a candidate promises to give us in return!
Many websites show how candidates stand on the issues. Others show how elected officials have voted in the past.
Take the time to do your homework. Research, pray, and talk to knowledgeable people about the issues facing our Republic.
The future, of our nation and our children, depends on you and me doing the right thing!
